KantanStream pays Editors hourly rates for post-editing and invigilation tasks. These rates are benchmarked against the average translator income for a particular country and language combination. Additionally, each Editor has their own hourly rate which is updated daily and depends on the quality and of individual Editor’s tasks as well as their productivity.
For example, if an Editor has very high productivity but delivers low quality translations, their hourly rate will be reduced. However, if an Editor has high productivity and still delivers consistently good translations, their hourly rate will increase.
Editor performance is measured and monitored using an AI based quality evaluation and estimation system. Additionally, tasks are peer-reviewed by other editors, through invigilation tasks, and this feedback is incorporated in the assessment of an Editor's performance.
